You need to create an account to start using our API, VRM 360 and Report Builder.  Create a free account using your Google or Facebook account, or simply enter an email address and password. 

1. From the One Auto API home page click Login.

2. Choose to create your account using Google, Facebook or email. (A verification code will be sent by email to customers entering an email address).

3. The registration page will be returned immediately if you register with Google or Facebook.  If you have registered using your email address you need to enter the code sent by email, before completing the registration page. 

4. The intended usage statement is really important as we need to know how the data will be used before allowing access to services containing DVLA data.

5. We also need to know whether you are creating an account on behalf of a company or whether you are a sole trader.  If you are registering as a company you will need to confirm the company number.

5. Once you have completed the registration, agreed to the DVLA restrictions* on the disclosure of the VIN and our terms & conditions just click COMPLETE REGISTRATION.
